All students at Ivanhoe Girls', beginning from Prep, have the opportunity to hold leadership positions. These positions offer students a chance to show responsibility, develop confidence, organise and lead others, and to support the leadership of their peers.

In Junior School, students develop leadership skills and confidence through public speaking events such as assemblies and church services, music performances, theatrical productions and the School Ambassador program. 

In Senior School, sporting teams, the performing arts, peer-support leaders, debating, and student-led groups such as the SRC, offer many opportunities to develop leadership skills, while the Year 12 Student Leadership Team hold positions of responsibility that are highly regarded across the entire student body. 

Both Junior School and Senior School students are compassionate contributors to their local community. They are committed to social justice, sustainability and philanthropy.
