Library - Senior

Fiona Mulvaney (Head of Library & Information Services) and Alexia Gibbons (Senior School Teacher Librarian) invite you to visit the beautiful learning spaces within the Senior Area. You are welcome to see the outstanding facilities available to our students, browse the books in the extensive Frances Lowe collections, try out the touch screen catalogues, and see some of the students’ wide reading responses to their favourite authors, genres and titles in artistic reinterpretations in the Wide Reading Area. 

The genrefied fiction and non-fiction collections are worth exploring as well as a display of the 2024 Notable List in the CBCA Australian Book of the Year Awards and the International Carnegie Book of the Year Awards, including lots of wonderful bookmarks available with lists and ideas for that next best reads. Come and do some communal colouring in and bookmark creating in our beautiful Wide Reading space.

Library - Junior

Celia Hatzipavlis (Junior School Teacher Librarian) invites you to visit the beautiful learning space that is the Junior Library.You are welcome to see the outstanding facilities available to our students, browse the books in the extensive Mary Vinnicombe collection, try out the touch screen terminals, and see some of the students’ recent work focused on cybersafety and digital citizenship. Ask us about the digital ebook collection SORA utilised by the girls on their iPads.

You may even have the opportunity to chat with one of the student Library Leaders during your visit, discover some of the books from the recently announced 2024 Notable List in the CBCA Book of the Year Awards, or just enjoy finding a cosy spot in the Library to read a book or two.

Come along to a Storytime which will feature a selection from the Early Childhood category and award winning books! These will be held at 11:15am, 11:30am, and 12:30pm (Storytime numbers may be restricted)
