Our Year 9 and 10 students recently completed a Design Thinking Project for their Food and Wellbeing class. Students had to follow a design brief and use Design Thinking principles to design and create food items.
In the Innovation Station, the Year 9 students used Tinkercad to create digital designs and 3D printers to produce chocolate moulds, and the Year 10 students created cookie cutters. They were encouraged to evaluate the moulds they had designed and created.
Students finally used their designed products to make delicious shortbread biscuits and chocolates to present in gift hampers and gift boxes.
