2020 School Dux, Daisy Xu.

Congratualtions to our 2020 Dux, Zhidou (Daisy) Xu, who has achieved an ATAR of 99.85, including a perfect score of 50 for Specialist Maths.

Our Dux Secondi is Elizabeth Hoye who has achieved an ATAR of 99.55.

Students from the School Leadership Team also performed strongly, including Vice Captain Pema Hayman (99.40), Golden Mitre Editor Mia Babatsikos (99.15), School Captain Dunithi Galagadara (98.70) and Drama Captain Cassie Horne (98.55).

"2020 has been like no other year experienced by VCE students in Victoria and none of us could have predicted the additional challenges that the Class of 2020 or their teachers would face," says Dr Priest.

"The quality of learning leading up to Year 12, the level of parental, school and community support given to the Class of 2020, the commitment of the Year 12 teachers and the connectedness of the students themselves to each other, have all contributed to these outstanding results."

Dr Priest says, “As the pandemic took hold, we all witnessed amazing resilience, adaptability and creativity across the School. While we would easily have forgiven the Class of 2020 had they simply retired to focus on their studies, they shook off the self-doubt, the inevitable challenge and they simply adapted.”

“They remained introspective and stoic throughout the inevitable cancellations of Year 12 events and continued to focus on achieving what was possible.”

“The Class of 2020 has emerged from this year so much stronger than any of us could have imagined and I am proud of each and every one of them.”

"On behalf of the entire school community, I congratulate these students, wish them every success for the future and encourage them to remain in touch with us so we can follow them in the next stage of their journeys as adults."

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank our staff team for their tremendous dedication, creativity and adaptability and every parent for your support of your daughter. Together we have held the Class of 2020 in the palm of our hands and deep in our hearts, and together we have watched them rise up to our high expectations of them. Now, together, we can watch them take up their individual journeys into adulthood with great confidence."
