Children in the Ivanhoe Girls’ Grammar School Early Learning Centre (ELC) are encouraged to be inquisitive, to problem solve and take an active role in their learning. These skills are particularly important in numeracy and the development of their mathematical capabilities.

Activities in the ELC focused on numeracy refer back to the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), supporting children in becoming confident and involved learners (learning) and effective communicators (communication).
