The purpose built Innovation Station is a dedicated maker space, allowing students from ELC to VCE to create exciting projects and develop ideas utilising specialised industry standard equipment.
Students create projects using robots, electronics, 3D printers and pens, drills, saws, engineering materials and a laser cutter.
The space offers an opportunity for cross-curriculum teaching in classes such as English, Fashion and Textiles and Physics, as well as Digital Technology. Meanwhile, the tools enable students to incorporate critical thinking, analytical skills, risk-taking, prototyping, creative innovation, problem-solving and hands-on learning in a multitude of mediums.
This flexible working space is located in the Senior Library.
